A NOTE ON STRONGLY E-REFLEXrVE INVERSE SEMIGROUPS
In contrast to the semilattice of groups case, an inverse semigroup S which is the union of strongly ^-reflexive inverse subsemigroups need not be strongly £-reflexive. If, however, the union is saturated with respect to the Green's relation <3), and in particular if the union is a disjoint one, then 5 is indeed strongly £-reflexive. This is established by showing that fy -saturated inverse sub...
متن کاملStrongly F*-inverse covers for tiling semigroups
We introduce the notion of path extensions of tiling semigroups and investigate their properties. We show that the path extension of a tiling semigroup yields a strongly F *-inverse cover of the tiling semigroup and that it is isomorphic to an HNN * extension of its semilattice of idempo-tents.
متن کاملE-dilation of strongly commuting CP-semigroups (the nonunital case)
In a previous paper, we showed that every strongly commuting pair of CP0-semigroups on a von Neumann algebra (acting on a separable Hilbert space) has an E0-dilation. In this paper we show that if one restricts attention to the von Neumann algebra B(H) then the unitality assumption can be dropped, that is, we prove that every pair of strongly commuting CP-semigroups on B(H) has an E-dilation. T...
متن کاملPartial Actions of Inverse and Weakly Left E-ample Semigroups
We introduce partial actions of weakly left E-ample semigroups, thus extending both the notion of partial actions of inverse semigroups and that of partial actions of monoids. Weakly left E-ample semigroups arise very naturally as subsemigroups of partial transformation semigroups which are closed under the unary operation α 7→ α, where α is the identity map on the domain of α. We investigate t...
متن کاملsemigroups with inverse skeletons and zappa-sz'{e}p products
the aim of this paper is to study semigroups possessing $e$-regular elements, where an element $a$ of a semigroup $s$ is {em $e$-regular} if $a$ has an inverse $a^circ$ such that $aa^circ,a^circ a$ lie in $ esubseteq e(s)$. where $s$ possesses `enough' (in a precisely defined way) $e$-regular elements, analogues of green's lemmas and even of green's theorem hold, where green's relations $mbox{$...
